What the Media Thought Before Sarah Palin's Nomination

Interesting what the MSM thought before Sarah Palin became "ground-breaking" and "mavericky."

Why do I wake up at night in cold sweat, scared out of my mind, after dreaming that McCain/Palin win the elections? (and I'm Canadian) I just have a really bad feeling this will still go through, regardless of how bad their campaign/morals/plan/values/parenting skills/ethics are?

^ I'd venture the guess that it's because you've been paying closer attention to American politics in the last couple Presidential elections than most Americans.

They forgot to mention about her look. Often a successfully good looking woman draws jealousy instead of admiration from her fellow women. I think that "trip the Prom Queen" mentality is not going to help her with the women voters.

I come from a family that thinks that Obama is the Anti Christ. [Just to give you some perspective]

How do you think that makes me feel? [Rhretorical]

They think that failin has had 6 years experience as a Governor.

The gap between us grows every day because they claim to know who the puppet masters are, yet they still fall for the same old lesser of two evils bullshit.

Make your choice based on who is the best candidate for you, who represents you. Not because fox news says something. Not because me, or any number of the political sifters posted something that sounded good.

She is a very bad strategic play for McCain to those of us that are educated and well read about politics and how it works.

Its a ploy to get Hillary constituents, and to make McCain out to be progressive. Yet all it shows to me is that he will stoop to anything, even a sexist pick such as a less qualified aesthetically pleasing Governor. There are numerous other picks he should have chosen. I will stick with that bald coca cola guy, David something or other.

I'd add a caveat to that -- people should listen to, and consider, valid arguments from any source.

Just be careful about these things, and you'll be fine.

Investigate the story behind Palin's claim that she did not support the bridge to nowhere. With very little digging, you'll find that she lied. Outright lied. I think on that basis alone, she more than qualifies as McSame's running mate.
